iMac G5 20" (ALS)

Structurally and visually almost identical to its predecessor from 2004, but upgraded with a light sensor and slightly newer components.
The last iMac to open fully in an easy way, and also the penultimate one with a PowerPC processor.

This unit has quite a long history. It used to belong to a smoker, so the whole inside was extremely dirty. Instead of white, the plastic looked brown - like coffee.
While it has been cleaned up and is working, it unfortunately has a few parts that need to be taken care of. For example, noisy fans and slowly crumbling speakers.
Additionally, this iMac G5 has already survived one graphics card repair by reflowing it, but it happens to have worse days when pink artifacts are visible instead of bright colors.
