A computer the size of a thin client device, but which is a full-fledged, energy-efficient desktop computer.
The smallest version of the OptiPlex 3050.
The machine uses a standard LGA 1151 socket, so it's possible to upgrade to much more powerful i3 or i5 series processors, although one should remember to use a 35W TDP variant.
In addition, there are two slots for the familiar DDR4 SO-DIMM memory from laptops, space for a 2.5" SATA and M.2 NVMe drive.
Surprisingly a lot for such a tiny and inconspicuous unit.
Such a computer is ideal for office work or multimedia. However, due to its limited power and not very powerful graphics chip, it will not work as a home gaming machine.
The power supply uses a thin-barrel power adapter, known from the Vostro and Inspiron series of laptops.
