Motorola SLVR L6

A stylish, slim and well-built phone, drawing design and features from the slightly older but highly acclaimed RAZR V3.

The SLVR L6 is a very distinctive cell phone compared to competitors from Sweden, Finland, France or Germany. The body is extremely thin, and the finishing materials consist of good quality plastic, aluminum and glass, giving the impression of very high quality. The sheer appearance is very impressive, as well as the backlit keyboard, which in the dark evokes something futuristic.

The phone is quite easy to use and enjoy. A nice touch is as many as two programmable keys on the sides. However, in terms of functionality there's not much going on here other than support for J2ME games, Bluetooth or a camera with video recording capabilities.
The display is small and quite dull, and at a slight angle one can see the effect of color inversion. Also missing is an FM radio, which was added to the slightly updated L6i model.

An interesting detail is the key sound system, which only plays the sound of a key when it is pressed. This means that fast clicking through the device results in clipped or unplayed sounds.

This unit comes from the Polish Era network and had branding and a SIM lock.
