Nikon Coolpix S5100

A typical compact camera from the end of the first decade of the 21st century.

It served for years as my own camera. I used it often as a camcorder, but it handles video recording moderately well.
Despite the 720p resolution, the videos never looked good, plus continuous focus was disabled by default, which could frustrate. Although even enabled it didn't help much due to very slow response time.
It was never a high end model, but I insisted on it because of the insult to Sony caused by their Memory Stick cards.

In recent times, it was supposed to be used to take pictures of devices for this website, but... my Xperia XZ1 Compact takes incomparably better photos, so now it was the Nikon that was photographed. Ah, the charm of technological progress.
