A slightly modified variant of the Nokia 3510, which features a color display.
A model that quickly put aside the original version with a monochrome screen. Relative to its predecessor, it has orange case accents and a changed color of the power button.
The Nokia 3510i is much more popular than the version without the āiā. The phones are a few months apart from each other, and the addition of a color image to a device with polyphonic ringtones made it even more desirable. It also symbolized the cell phones of the early 21st century, which were technologically far superior to their predecessors of the late 1990s.
This phone has a synthesized startup sound that, unlike the model without the āiā at the end, is pleasant to the ears:
