Nokia 6680

A multimedia flagship, which is an introduction to the iconic N series.
Many people seeing this device will say that it is an ordinary mobile phone, but it is not. This is a true smartphone before the era of the omnipresent touch screen.

There is not much talk about Nokia 6680, which is a pity. With its functionality, this smartphone outshines the iPhone released 2 years later.
Advanced, multi-tasking operating system with the possibility to install applications, two cameras, camera flash, video recording, copy and paste function and 3G support. These are examples of things this device offers, and the iPhone (2G) does not.

There are even such extras as a light sensor or a dedicated button for voice commands. Although the camera's sliding cover is a bit disturbing, it protects and allows you to start the camera without unlocking the smartphone.

The only quite strange thing is the design of the speaker grille. The case has three holes prepared, but only the far right one allows the sound from the speaker to get through. The other two don't even try to imitate a deeper hole.

This unit comes from the Polish Plus GSM network and had a SIM lock, which was removed in a GSM service.
