One of the first two Nokia models running Windows Phone. The beginning of the end for the company's original mobile division.
The phone is technically very similar to the simultaneously released Lumia 800, although the 710 has a replaceable battery.
Interestingly, the Lumia 710's chassis design is borrowed from the 603, just as the Lumia 800 borrows from the N9.
Getting back to the essence of the system - Windows Phone 7 was as fast, light, smooth and user-friendly as it was a huge failure. The system has been so abandoned and forgotten that devices
running under the control of "mobile seven" have been reduced in functionality to a lower level than Java-based phones, because for these at least you can install games and applications from .jar files. Currently, nothing works except for synchronizing mail and contacts with a Microsoft account. Internet Explorer won't let you view most pages, and the built-in map and navigation applications don't work. Not to mention the long-closed app store.
Unlike later models using Windows Phone 8/8.1, such as the Lumia 720, 820 or 520, there is no way to unlock Windows Phone 7 devices and use apps loaded from a computer.
