One of the last classic Sony Ericsson cell phones.
The Cedar, along with its brother models Elm and Hazel, was part of the Greenheart series, which focused on going green. These devices had longer battery life, their cases were made of recycled plastic, the paints used were environmentally friendly, and the included chargers were supposed to be energy efficient.
The three models mentioned are based on the DB3350 platform, so technically they are almost the same, although the Cedar was aimed at the lower end. Elm and Hazel had Wi-Fi, GPS and better cameras with flash and shutter button on the side of the device. However, the Cedar was the only one of the three to have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro USB connector instead of FastPort, and supported microSD memory cards instead of M2.
