Dell D/Dock Expansion-Station

Docking station dedicated to Latitude D-series laptops, such as D610 or D630.

A sizable device that allows you to expand your laptop with additional connectors and allows you to quickly and conveniently use your laptop in desktop mode.
On the bottom there is an additional connector for inserting the dock into an optional monitor stand.

Unlike the replicator, it has a built-in power supply and a D/Bay, copied from a laptop, which allows for the placement of a floppy drive module, hard disk, optical drive or even a second battery, which the dock can charge. Another addition is a full PCI connector, into which you can insert an expansion card, although not every one wants to cooperate. In my case, an Adaptec SCSI controller was the one that worked.
Before pulling out the laptop, you should first prepare the system for safe ejection by pressing the button next to the power switch or the "undock" option in Windows.
